. There isn't a lot of cross-training.
I can't speak to Dept but at Division level 1) Changes out of our control or influence such as UW or UW Health policies that might change our proceedures or workflow. 2) limited time
Getting (complete) responses from faculty Coordinating schedules with busy doctors/surgeons
Time for reflection to improve my processes. I find I am moving on to next task before really closing current tasks.

expert
on
anything

providers

busy
doing
activities
making
it
hard
to
schedule
meetings
get
responses.
Working
across
two
organizations
don't
communicate
well.
Many
tasks
we
do
time
sensitive
require
specialized
knowledge
of
workflows.
completely
understanding
what
each
person
does
would
be
nice
have
some
job
shadowing
opportunties
so
can
fill
in
while
people
out
Tasks
often
enough
really
proficient
at
needing
guidance
but
not
receiving
it.
We
need
better
training
for
PCard
reconciliation
Reimbursement
training.
